We don’t mean to brag (yes we do), but we just can’t help it. For the second year in a row, White Cloud took home a Golden Leaf Award, this time for “BMJ Most Committed to Quality,” which is something we’re most proud of.
Each year, the Global Tobacco Networking Forum (GTNF) holds an annual conference. This year it was held October 1 through 4 at the historic Greenbrier Resort in White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia. Tobacco Reporter has presented 5 BMJ-sponsored Golden Leaf Awards of distinction at each conference since its inception in 2006.
The first e-cig company honored
In 2013, White Cloud was the first electronic cigarette company to be recognized at the event, winning the Golden Leaf Award for “Most Exciting Newcomer to the Industry.” We thought that was awesome – and it was! But this year, being honored for quality was thrilling and further exemplified our comprehensive commitment to innovation and quality. It’s kind of a big deal.
Winning and grinning
Robert Burton, our Director of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs, was a panelist and speaker at the event. “I was extremely proud to collect the award on behalf of White Cloud,” he said. “Particularly as it was for the company ‘Most Committed to Quality,’ as this recognizes the efforts and devotion of every single person within our organization.”
In short, he was saying that everyone here is obsessed with quality, so winning an award for it is insanely gratifying. We are honored to be honored, and will keep it up so we can be three-for-three this time next year.
